From March 13th to 17th, Caravanserai Palermo, in collaboration with MojoCoHouse, is pleased to host Isidoro Concas in his second artistic residency.

Author, performer, and cultural operator, Isidoro Concas will once again be our guest in Palermo for a week during which he will present various facets of his work in spoken word, music, and performance. The residency will consist of a series of events, including poetry slams, musical performances, and workshops dedicated to writing and speaking, involving local artists and the public in various creative ways.

The residency will begin on Friday, March 13th, at Spazio Solazzo (via degli Schioppettieri 21), with the Cover Slam event, in collaboration with Parole Notturne: a special poetry slam in which each participant will bring two texts to the stage, one of their own and one written by another author. The origins of the texts will not be revealed during the competition, and the audience will vote without knowing which piece belongs to each author. The finalists will also follow the same rules until the final reveal.

On Sunday, March 15th, in the Luna apartment of the MojoCoHouse (via degli Schioppettieri 11), Isidoro will present a special Moonsession: a Spoken Word Selecta that will be held in English for this occasion, in order to best accommodate the city’s international audience. The evening will open with a short performance organised by Parole Notturne.

On Tuesday, March 17th, from 15h to 19h, Isidoro will host a workshop dedicated to writing and performing lyrics at Spazio Solazzo. The evening will then continue with a special jam session featuring Spoken Jam sessions, where lyrics, improvisation, and music will meet in a shared experimental space.
